Riveted Metal Pendant Beaded Chain

What To Do
1. Cut a 1½” length of wire. Use the chain-nose pliers to bend a 90-degree angle in the wire ¼” from one end of the wire. Using the tip of the round-nose pliers, twist a simple loop into that end of the wire.
2. Slide a crystal bicone, a copper rondelle, and another crystal bicone onto the wire. Using the chain-nose pliers, bend a 90-degree angle in the wire as close to the last bead as you can. Then use the round-nose pliers to twist a simple loop in the wire. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to make 16 beaded components.
3. Use the chain-nose pliers to open the loop at one end of a beaded component. To do this, grasp one side of the loop with the chain-nose pliers and open the loop like you would open a door. Insert the loop of another beaded component, then close the open loop. Repeat until you’ve linked 8 beaded components together to form a beaded chain.
4. Create a second beaded chain by linking the remaining 8 beaded components together in the same way. Attach the two lengths of beaded chain together using a jump ring.
5. Cut two 2¼” lengths of copper-plated chain with the wire cutters. Attach a length of chain to each end of the beaded necklace by opening and closing the loops on each end with chain-nose pliers. Add a lobster clasp to one end of the chain using a jump ring.
6. Use the last jump ring to hang the Riveted Metal Pendant from the jump ring in the center of the necklace.
